After dinner, last night, we watched the movie, Dirty Harry. Mark said it was a classic. I may have seen it years ago. Just didn't like the serial killer plot very much. Woke up around 5:30. Mark too. Was able to fall back asleep until just after 7. We each had cereal and ½ banana for breakfast and then started our day doing final cleaning/vacuuming. After we ate, Mark arranged for our 3d pictures to be taken at 4 or later. So, we had the day to finish cleaning and I suggested laundry. We had 3 loads for sure. I cleaned the bathrooms. Mark worked on other areas of the boat. Loaded laundry and a trash bag into the dinghy and headed over to the Royal Motor Yacht Club. Mark went in to ask about using their laundry facility and was told that it was only for members and their guests. So, that meant no laundry for us. They suggested another marina on the other side of our bay, but they didn't have any laundry facility there. I suggested going to Royal Alfred Yacht Club as we could get a guest pass thru Marcus. We asked about laundry coins at the reception desk and was able to buy tokens enough for 3 loads. Then we asked where it was. We were told to use our swipe card, which we didn't have. So, after the paperwork was finished and a deposit was paid, we got our very own swipe card. Mark dropped me at the laundry room, which is next to the men's restroom/showers and he went back to the boat. He took a few more things off the boat and met David at the park. Then he headed back my way and I heard him calling thru the laundry window. I was just finishing the first load. He helped me fold the dry clothes before we headed to their dining room. Mondays & Tuesdays there is no chef, so we had ham and turkey toasties. Mark had a dessert, too. We were one of two tables in this huge glassed in area, looking out at the boats in the marina. So, very beautiful. Food was good. Then we headed back to the laundry. Mark packed up the dry load and soap container and headed back to the boat. He did some more cleaning and moving things around. Our boat looked very empty! I went and sat in the reception area and played some games on my phone. Then headed back in time to collect the last load of dry clothes and pack them in a garbage bag for the ride back to the boat. I waited at the dock and Mark came by to pick me & the laundry up. I didn't realize we were in direct line of sight to our boat from their dock. Mark informed me that the picture taking crew were coming earlier than planned. They arrived shortly after I got back to the boat. It took quite a while. We moved bags of clothes and boat items for each of pictures taken inside and outside our boat . Will share the websites when our listing gets posted. It was after 4 before they left. We got into the dinghy and headed to the park. Mark had to find the right bag with his flip flops. Only he came out with only one of his and one of mine. So, he had to go back and find his other shoe. I laughed. Since, Mark was out of peanut butter and bread, we decided to walk over to Coles. He was planning to get a much needed hair cut, but the barber shop was almost closed and not taking any more customers today. So, we stopped at Harris Farms as they always have more fruits and veggies for sale. Then Mark headed to Coles for peanut butter while I waited with our purchases. Then we walked back thru the mall and stopped by the Commerce Bank because they had free wifi. We caught up on our wifi as our monthly gigs are almost used up. We then walked back to Winnererremy Park, finding a short cut along a creek. We went by the Flying Fox cafe and they were already closed. However, Mark said their free wifi was available. We stopped for a short time. I was able to send Mark a picture for the blog and not have to use up our coverage. Stopped by Matt & Amy's sailboat. Matt was just coming back in their sailing dinghy. Had a short visit. They will be moving to another location tomorrow. We headed back to our boat & hoisted the dinghy. We were both exhausted. Since Mark finished all the coke on board, he selected a beer for tonight's sg&t. We had some taco chips and salsa too. The sun has set and there is a tiny bit of color in the western sky. It's very calm. The big howling wind is gone. It's very flat in our anchorage. I do believe we will sleep in tomorrow. We are getting ready to find a rental car for our trip to Melbourne. It would be another way to get some more things off the boat. Multihull Solutions will be taking still pictures of our boat on Wednesday. Today was mostly sunny with a light breeze. In the sun, it was very hot. However, if you were in the shade, it felt like a cold day. At times it even looked like it would rain, but the rain held off. Our salon temperature is 79 degrees. Our boat is facing SE. We are very close to the tiny red hulled sailboat on a mooring ball behind us. The weather prediction is for the wind to shift to the NE, which will push us further from that sailboat. All is good!!
