We finished watching the Han Solo Star Wars movie. Then we headed to bed early, just after 9 pm. For some reason, we are needing more rest these days. I was thinking that we have just less than 2 ½ months here in Australia. I woke up around 5 and wanting to cough. So, I decided to get up for a while. The cough syrup was supposed to make me sleepy but I do not believe that is happening. I added some Vicks to my throat as well as some of the echinacea spray. I decided to do some reading and give Mark a break from my coughing. By 5:30 it was still plenty dark outside. Just thinking about getting light. Lots of lights from on shore in all directions around us. The birds are starting to chatter. I went back to sleep around 6 as it was just starting to get light outside. I turned off the anchor light and the salon light on my way. Mark slept in too. We didn't wake up until after 8. Mark had cereal for breakfast. I cooked up some veggies for mine. Mark worked on taking our hookah out of the port forward ¼ berth, to the deck and took pictures. He will add them to his Gumtree website. So, far, no one has been interested in buying it. We got ready and took our shower bags over to Royal Prince Alfred Yacht Club. Had a nice hot shower. The facility is really beautiful. Once our shower was over, we headed back to the boat. Hung up our wet towels and picked up some empty bags to take with us to the shopping mall. Dinghied to the park where our rental car was waiting for us. Then drove to the Coles Mall which is closest to the park. We have walked there a few times. Their free wifi was not the greatest, but eventually we had enough of a connection for a couple of phone calls. Mark was wanting pizza for lunch. So, we drove over to Mona Vale and found a Dominos. It was $5 for a good sized pizza with extra pepperoni. We have not found any other deals that could match that. We didn't even eat the whole pizza. While we waited for the pizza to cook, we walked across the street and found the local symphony orchestra performing. Great entertainment for their weekend farmer's market. There were lots of booths set up. I was intrigued by one that offered iridology! By the time we walked around the square, it was time for our pizza to be cooked. We collected the pizza and sat at a table outside. When we finished eating, we found that we were in close enough range to a Telstra free wifi location. Checked out some Facebook entries and posted a few pictures. Then we drove back to the park. We were able to fit into a parking spot close to the end of the park. We walked over to the dinghy. There were still a lot of people at the park. The park is definitely on our list of favorite places in this area. The water was flat and there was a good breeze. Very low tide too. The spit was almost all the way to the green marker. Lots of people in knee deep water with their dogs. I did observe many strange looking clouds in the sky. We arrived back at the boat. Unloaded the few groceries we purchased and washed the salt water off our feet. It was almost 3 pm. Mark was ready to take a nap and I figured that more rest was what we both needed, so I joined him. I only lasted about half an hour. I started having a coughing fit and got up. Took some cough syrup and did some reading. I really wanted Mark to get some more rest. While I read, I was coughing at times. Not sure where this is coming from. I just want to release it. Went back to our cabin and did a lot of healing on myself and Mark. Then I started coughing. So, I got up and started getting ready for our evening out. The breeze coming in our hatches was a great temperature. It was 82 degrees in the salon. The sun was still shining. There were huge white clouds on the horizon mixed in with a light shade of blue sky. Our plans are to meet up with friends around 8 pm. The restaurant is called Bistro Boulevard in Avalon. We have to allow time to dinghy to shore and drive there. Since we are eating so late, we may have a snack first. Thanks for your emails and messages. Enjoy the weekend!!
