Up around 7 am which was 8 am in yesterdays time as we fell back an hour last night. Got dressed and headed to the dining room for breakfast. We got to join a window table with two other couples. One couple was from Australia, 2 hours south of Sydney and this was their second time for a world cruise. The other was from Auckland, NZ for their first world cruise. They experienced the rough waters getting to Sydney. They also brought 25 bottles of wine with them. Breakfast was scrambled eggs with asparagus and potatoes. I added bacon. We each had some fresh fruit. Mark had a danish and I had a bran muffin. Enjoyed our conversation. Headed back to our cabin. Got our sunglasses and hats and walked Deck 7 for more than a mile. It was hot on the sunny side of the ship. We were both sweating by the time we were done walking. Then we headed back to our cabin and watched the latest Robin Hood movie. This was one of the movies that we missed on the big screen due to rainy weather. It was not as good as I was expecting. Then it was lunch time. We climbed up to Deck 14 Lido for the buffet. I had a variety of cooked veggies, plus some baked ham and some beef from the beef stew. Mark had a sandwich with a beef empinada and a few other things. He also added cookies and coffee. We headed back to our cabin. Mark changed into his swimsuit and headed to the pool for water volleyball. I decided to wait one more day before getting back in the water. I watched some tv and caught up on Facebook, posting some pictures. Checked out the news and emails. Mark was back in an hour. Once he changed out of his wet clothes, we headed to Ryder Cup Challenge. Mark did much better than me. I was no good on the chip shot into a hoola hoop ring. We joined the astronomy lecture, late. Donna, the astronomer, talked about comets. It was very interesting. If the weather would clear up, Donna will host a night sky show. We walked out on Deck 7 but the visibility was poor with the high humidity. We stopped and played a few rounds of shuffle board. Then we headed back to our cabin. Had a short rest. Then we both showered and dressed for dinner. We joined our dinner mates who always manage to beat us to the table. Dinner was a cold soup and then prime rib dinner. I replaced the baked potato with some extra veggies. We both had a dessert. Enjoyed our table conversations. We had ten minutes to get to the Movie Under the Stars. Tonight's was Green Book. Lots of people attended. We picked up some popcorn and blankets and found two open lounge chairs. It was a warmer night as I didn't even use my blanket. The movie was a very good story. Everyone clapped at the end. We ran into Owen from Bundaberg, who suggested a drink with Bundy rum and milk over ice. Such a funny conversation. Headed back to our cabin. Decided we didn't need to see the main show as we had already seen one of his shows. Putting together this blog as we watch some Fox News. Thanks for all the emails and messages we received today. I posted pictures to Facebook and sent out an updated email. If you are not receiving emails from us, please let us know. Enjoy this last day of May!
