Woke up after 7:30. Mark let me sleep a bit longer. Watched some tv. Then got dressed and headed to breakfast in the dining room. We sat with 2 couples from Newcastle, Australia and one single lady from Victoria who had a cabin to herself. I could not imagine having a cabin to yourself when you had to pay for two people, regardless. She had been on other cruises with her sister, but she was busy this time. The two couples were elderly parents and their children. Enjoyed our conversations while we ate breakfast. Headed back to our cabin. Got our sunglasses and hats for a walk up on Deck 7. Watched some tv, as they are showing more movies, now that we have no satellite news shows on our tvs. Then headed up and walked around the deck a few times. Then headed to Deck 12 to walk. It was a lot hotter out on our walk. We headed back into the air conditioning and headed to the gym. We walked the treadmill and worked on a few of the gym equipment. Mark headed back earlier than me. I started watching the movie, Apollo 13. Headed down to our cabin and joined Mark. We got a few minutes to rest, before getting into our swimsuits and heading to Deck 14, Lido, for lunch. Mark had a burger and I had chicken and veggies. Then headed over to the pool. It was so very hot, I decided to wear a top over my bathing suit as I am getting too much sun on my shoulders. Had a fun time in the pool. Some of the plays and volleys are so very funny. What a great group of players we have on board. Mark spent some time with Steve, who is also from the US and plays volleyball with us. He purchased a sextant and wanted Mark to show him how to use it. They spent some time together after we finished. I sat in the hot tub for a bit, but it was way too hot. I went back into the pool to cool off before heading back to our cabin. Showered by the time Mark returned. We got a bit of a rest before headed to the Princess Theater for our Ryder Cup challenge today. Mark scored a hole in one! I hit a sand trap, and scored a 3. It's still a lot of fun watching everyone else putt. We stopped to listen to a couple of songs by one of the entertainers in the atrium. I asked him if he knew any Christopher Cross songs, as his voice reminds me of him. He made a note in his phone to research the songs. He asked if I had a favorite and I said, yes. One of his best songs was 'Sailing'. Headed back to our cabin and got dressed for dinner. Started watching the movie, Miracle on the Hudson. We saw most of the movie, but headed to dinner before it finished. Had a lovely dinner with Ian & Beverly and Greg and Maxine. It was close to 7 pm, so we headed out for the early movie. Tonight's Movie Under the Stars was Head fullof Honey. The movie was okay. The rest of the passengers loved it. By this time we were both tired out. We walked up to Deck 14 to get a drink as we both ate some popcorn at the movie. Mark had a coffee and I tried the lemon tea as my stomach was hurting. It helped. We each took a glass of water back to our cabin. Watched more of the Miracle on the Hudson movie. We will try to get to bed earlier tonight. Watching a tv channel on Aqaba, Jordan. They are talking about their coral reefs, which is what we are planning to do. Thanks for the many emails and messages. Mark just checked the F1 results and Hamilton pulled off a win in Montreal after today's leader lost the race with a 5 second penalty.
