Slept until 8 am. Got up and dressed and joined Jim for a long walk around his neighborhood. It was much more humid this morning. We were all sweating by the time we walked back. Had breakfast and showered. Packed things up and loaded the car. Jim and Deb were flying to Vegas this afternoon. We decided to move over to Robert & Chris' condo on the ICW. They are currently in Connecticut. We took all our suitcases and bags in as we need to go thru everything. Mark enjoyed a short rest after our light lunch. Then we drove over to our street and visited with a couple of the neighbors. It was so good to see everyone. The one thing about traveling the world was missing all our friends and family.
We then drove to Queens Harbour to visit our good friends, the Silvers. Enjoyed a short visit there. Then stopped and picked up a few groceries on the way back to the condo. Cooked dinner. I haven't done that in a very long time. Then we enjoyed a relaxing evening. Not sure we saw any rain today, but we did see some very dark clouds this afternoon. We will be in Jacksonville for a few more days. Then our plan is to start driving back to NY state for the Army vs Rice football game on 8/30. Thanks for all the emails and messages. Very happy to be back in Jacksonville!
