Woke up around 7 today. Decided to get dressed and head out for a long walk. It was already hot and humid when we opened the door. The sun had risen and was shining brightly on us as we walked. We walked around the other side of the marina as far as we could go. Then circled back around by the pool. I would have jumped in, if I had worn my bathing suit. We were both sweating as we walked. Had a light breakfast. Then worked on more plans. Mark booked us a mover. Researched getting new carpet. Then we met our dear friend, Chiche, for a late lunch. Enjoyed our time together. Then headed back with our leftovers. Decided to check out the flooring shop for carpet. Picked out two different ones for our living room and master bedroom. We have to get the actual size of the rooms. Hopefully, we can get everything arranged prior to our moving day. We shopped at a couple stores. We were both in need of some new running shoes. It was hot and we were tired out by the time we got back. Our daytime high was 98 degrees. Add some humidity and it felt much hotter. We should have headed to the pool to cool off. Maybe tomorrow. We finalized a few more things on our to-do list. Then enjoyed leftovers for dinner tonight. Our days are going by too fast in Jacksonville. Thanks for the emails and messages. Enjoy your day!
