Door County

17 June 2007 | Horseshoe Island, Peninsula State Park
Although we didn't sail up aboard Charis, we made it to Door County and did some sailing in our Shellback Dinghy. We camped at Peninsula State Park and sailed out to Horseshoe Island. We have camped at this beautiful campground 4 of the past 5 years and it has always been our goal to sail out to Horeshoe Island... and this year we finally did it, albeit in our dinghy.

I have been building the Shellback for the past 2 years and was very excited to finally sail it. She is a bit cramped, but sails very well. We had a great time exploring the island.
