Scout Camp

Normally, we have to drag the kids out of bed by 0730 each morning but on this particular morning the boys were up by 0600 and were soon busy packing. Deanna was up next and was much happier as she was actually able to sleep after the mouse had been appropriately confined. After six loads of laundry were sorted and folded, we were off to scout camp in the rental car.

While on the way, my cousin called me to find out how things were going. He had read some of my blog posts about the cold and suggested that we go to Walmart and purchase a portable camping heater. What a great idea! So obvious; why didn't I think of that? $49.95 later, we were in business.
