Lower Keewanaw Waterway Indent

Today was our exploring day. Stefan and Dad took and early trip to the hill which was very near our anchorage. They hiked the ridge and found fresh bear scat, which is pretty scary considering how small of an island it is. Later on, I took Mom and Dad on an excursion up a winding, marshy river. It was cool seeing all of the lily pads and swamp plants, along with cranes, herons and evidence of beavers. Stefan and I took advantage of the 78 degree water that filled "The Indent" and swam for most of the day. Mom cooked up a good seafood pasta and we planned for the next trip of 50 miles to get to Marquette.
