bahamas update

Time has been flying. Did lots of stuff to the boat and when I try to think about what it all was in takes a minute to filter back in. lets try. Lots of new steering parts, new refrigeration, new water heater, new walk-in shower, new fiberglass propane tank, new vhf and ais integrated with the plotter. Anyway we delayed our departure a few days so I could help Rick deliver his new to him St Francis around to Bradenton. We still managed to catch most of the good weather and went directly to the Ragged islands (Water Cay) via the west side of Great Exuma with just a stop in Nassau to check in and buy a sim card. We did stop near Farmers Cay to sleep one night and another at Jewfish cut. We left Florida on March 19th and arrived in Water Cay on the 23rd. Still lobster season so caught some nice ones as well as plenty of Hog Fish. We thought grouper season was still closed as there were so many but I guess they were just laughing at our mistake. So now we are in GT after a nice sail here for the cold front. Plan is to go back to Water next week.
