Arrived in the ragged islands!

Well, the wind was too north east to sail to Hog Cay cut and make it to Georgetown, and it was not even near high tide by the time we would had arrived to the cut, so the choice was made for us : Sail to water Cay, and David did not seem to get worst. It was a boisterous sail to say the least, and to arrive by this angle (from Jewfish cut to water cay), you have to keep an eye on huge coral heads. Luckily there are very visible and not too close to each other, plus for the most part, we could have gone over them as we have a pretty shallow draft anyway. Those coral heads look very black in this turquoise bleu water and it make them seem much shallower than they are (20-26 FT deep, but as we passed over a few, we saw the depth going to 14ft).Remember the old saying, black is good but BROWN, you run AGROUND..... We were not sure how bouncy the anchorage on the north of Water Cay would be in this very strong north east wind. It was comfortable but not without movement for sure, this is another advantage of catamarans, we don't roll too much. It is going to be very, very windy in the nest three days (25-30 knots) but then .....the reward... we will be right here, in paradise, when the wind lay off completely!!!!( if the forecast is correct!).
