Water cay alone, need company!!!

Four days we have been here, and there is not one day we came back without a fish or a lobster for dinner. It is a little lonely, but yesterday a catamaran , which actually is also an Outremer, came by and anchored in the south anchorage of Water Cay. This morning, they came back towards the north end where we are, either for comfort (less swells) or company (hopefully, we will get to meet them) or both. Not all cruisers are looking for contact with others in this area. When we crossed the Pacific, after the Galapagos, we spoke to almost every boat in our anchorage, and everybody was happy to exchange info, adventures, point of views around a drink in the late afternoons or just chatting in route to the laundry or market. In the Bahamas, because of the huge amount of boats spending the winter around those grounds, it is not as frequent. Some boats travel in pods and keep among each other, but I have to say, cruisers are a welcoming crowd most of the time. Nationalities keep with each other though (I can see some of this because of the language issue). The French with the French, the Canadian and Americans, etc. During our long trip, we made friends with Canadians from Vancouver, Germans, Frenchs, Americans, Australians with who we still have contacts. Anyway, I will let you know if we get together with this other Outremer…..
