We had a nice drive back. Yesterday we stopped in Gan for a wonderful visit and dinner with Helena and Paul on J Class. Azzi wandered around the boat and sat in all his favourite spots....it's another Jeanneau 37.

Digby

We are slowly driving home after putting Chumu to bed so to speak. We winterized everything and instep pedestal the mast. We stopped in Chesterfield, Mahone Bay and Lunenburg today. We are now in a B&B in Digby and will take the ferry tomorrow.

The last supper

We spent today stripping down the boat and winterizing. Tonight we had a wonderful BBQ and enjoyed our last evening aboard. Tomorrow we will set off by car for the lazy tourist trip back.

St.Peters - still

We have started to take the boat apart for winter storage. Sails and boom are off. Mast tomorrow. I went out racing tonight with the guys, it was just 4 boats, but fun of course. Sunny today, not hot, just right. Rain is in the forecast for tomorrow.

We are relaxing at the dock here at the marina. It's a bit rainy, misty etc today but we got some things done to prepare for storage. BBQ halibut for supper....mmmmm mm.

St.Peters again

Today I motored from Baddeck to St.Peter's. ..32nm. Ann drove here. The wind was 15-20 on the nose, a bit of chop and not fast. This marina is so friendly and nice. Lots of transients stop here too. Here''s the view from the cockpit this evening.

Today we drove from Kingston to home in this heat.....ouch.
Oh well. This will be my final entry for this trip. Who knows what the next year will bring? Ann is already "what if'ing" all the options.

We used the diesel heater last night. Many boats have them here. Tomorrow we are driving around the Cabot Trail for two days.
