Just a quick Introduction to get started, I am Phil and the lovely lady is Theresa ( Tree ) we are from Basingstoke Hants.

Last September ( 2012 ) we had the most amazing two weeks aboard the 37 Bavaria yacht "Ciaron" Sailing around the Ionian stopping at various places for supplies, shopping or sometimes just for a swim and lunch.

It was the first time that we had ever been on a yacht let alone sail! I must admit that I was very apprehensive about the whole trip, but only really about how myself and tree would cope with the constant movement of water and weather we would spend the whole two weeks feeling seasick!!!

But I need not have worried, we both took to life on water with ease and in fact after a few days aboard, we anchored at Levkas for 1 night but as soon as we walked onto dry land we started to feel landsick!!! I was a good half hour before the spinning and swaying stopped! ( I know now why captain Jack Sparrow sways as he walks, looking more like he has got to the bottom end of the rum bottle!!)
Once we were able to walk straight and not feel quite so drunk, we did have a proper chuckle.
