Shook Both Reefs

Chris
After two days of a double reefed main, we were finally able to shake both. The wind is the same strength, but the waves finally abated and we were able to turn a little more off the wind.
It was a nice day with lots of clear sky and sun but not too hot. We were able to enjoy the day on deck for the first time in two days with only an occasional saltwater spritz.
Julie made bread and we had grilled cheese sandwiches on fresh bread and curried crushed baby carrots for lunch. It was a good day!
The last 24 hours produced another 200+ mile day which makes 807 miles over the last 4 days. That is pretty good time for us, especially when we are not pushing.
Looking forward to Madagascar. We plan to check in at Nosy Be and then cruise the area for a couple of weeks.
