We rendezvoused at sea with Gypsy Soul this afternoon. They are without a genoa and now have motor trouble. So we gave them our staysail and some sail repair tape to get them to Richards Bay. We had to head due west for several hours to intercept them which was not ideal because we expect strong south easterlies this evening. Strong south easterlies would have us beating in steep wind against current seas. Fortunately the forecast is now calling for moderate to strong north easterlies which is a much better wind angle and likely seas state for us. We hope to be in Richards Bay by tomorrow afternoon.
