I do not care what anyone says, but bow waves are sexy. Of course, most modern racing sailboats would be horrified to throw a bow wave like this, but for older IOR inspired designs, I think this means you are cooking.

That is Frode furthest forward enjoying the ride and Marit hiking out. We met this couple in Chagos last year and had a lot of fun with them through Madagascar, Mozambique and South Africa. They are from Bergen, Norway and there boat is named Petrell. Frode was our mastman and Marit handled the topping lift. Marit likes to write poetry and Frode is a mean iPod DJ. When they don't want you to understand they speak Norwegian.
