Easter in Panama

Finally in the Pacific, we anchored in the Flamenco Yacht Club which is relatively new and quite nice. There are a few good restaurants and a great palm-tree lined running path - heaven after not being able to walk in Colon for the last two weeks! We have spent the last few days struggling with the French Embassy to get our Visas for French Polynesia. The highlight of the week was Easter Sunday, where we sat by a pool and played Scrabble and drank beers.
Panama City is very pretty and modern, quite a contrast to the poverty of Colon. We enjoyed exploring the various parts of the city and sampling some excellent Panamanian cuisine. Yes, there is such thing.
