Stainless steel solar-panel arch

Today we see for the first time what the stainless steel arch that will carry our solar panels will look like on the boat. Güçlü and Yukari (Irmak Yachting) have been absolutely great in taking and sending us photos of the arch being tried on the boat and progress at the Robinson work shop. The bends and weldings (connections) on the arch look pretty perfect on the photo (see photo gallery), they obviously know what they're doing.
I must admit that it is hard for a control-freak to get this amount of work done on our boat when you're 20,000 km away. Getting photo updates really helps a lot. Thanks very much to Güçlü and Yukari for being our eyes on the other side of the planet; we owe you dinner.
We're very excited to see the progress and hope the arch will be on the boat and the panels connected by Saturday, the first day of a fortnight of charter. Luckily Tolga is recovering well from this tumble down the rocks, leaving deep gashes on his legs and back. Maybe it is the healing properties of raki?
We'll keep you informed of progress.
