We Have an Abode

We signed the lease on our apartment and can start moving in tomorrow after noon. Our new bed arrives on Friday. Today we got a duvet, and bedding. We also culled through our combined stuff in my basement and it looks like we have everything to set up a kitchen. I got a pail, rubber gloves and Pinesol, to clean it my way. I believe it will be in almost pristine condition but I want to be sure I have cleaned the cupboards my way before I start to fill them. My sister and I will pick up the table and two chairs and the antique chair on Friday. We are culling through the online kijiji and Craig's list for a suitable couch and we have a few other venues to check out for furniture to repurpose. The important things are lined up,... a good new bed, table to eat off of and utensils. The rest will fall into place. There is a company here that we can bundle our TV, internet and land line AND have the ability to suspend the services if we travel on the boat for extended times. So that will be a pleasant savings.
