Chef at Home

Chef Michael Smith from Chef at Home on the Food Chanel was a guest at St. Mary's today. He did a great talk about his career, fresh food and sustainability. He was gracious, sincere, very handsome, and tall. He was a good sport and held my sock in progress after signing his new cookbook. Very nice since knitting and cooking are my biggest passions. Al was there for the talk and lunch but he broke away eager to get to his 1 p.m. physiotherapy. Lunch was a choice of 2 menu options from Michael s new cook book. Both Al and I chose the curried chick pea and squash over rice. While Al and his daughter hang out this weekend I'll browse my new cook book and dream about what yumminess to cook.
