HUMP Day

16 January 2013 | Kingston
Jennifer - threatening snow

Al got out of ICU this morning. He is on anticoagulants for his rather large lung clot. Physiotherapy has been re-consulted to get involved with his mobility. He has gone from ambulating independently with his quad cane to barely being able to stand, and he needs a 2 person assist to get into a chair. For these reasons they are proposing sending him back to St. Mary’s of the Lake Hospital for a short stay to regain strength and to get him to his pre-hospital admission status. Al is not keen on this but I think it is prudent for me to be safe with him at home.

Just for extra fun last night Bridget had a horrible allergic reaction to booster shots she received yesterday. She is much better today, it just never ends.

But I really hope we are over the last HUMP.
