Winter Cruise 2013-14

28 December 2013
This year we took our winter cruise south, to South Puget Sound. We visited Poer Townsend, Blake Island Marine Park across from Seattle, Dock Street Marina in Tacoma, and Jarrell Cove. On the way back north, we stopped at Blake Island, Bell Harbor in Seattle and Pike Street Market, Coupville, and Anacortes. The weather was cold and generally clear. It was a wonderful cruise!

This is a photo of Port Townsend, a historic town known for Victorian homes and a great, traditional shipyard, especially for wooden boats. We cruised across the Straits of San Juan de Fuca with Deception and Ajax, two Grand Banks in our fleet.
