A new beginning

19 January 2017 | Bribie Island
After a magical Christmas/New Year with family and friends we are now homeless!!!! the last few weeks have been filled with lots of fun with the grandchildren, 2 of whom we had on board with us having the best time. We've also been very busy organising the sale of SeaQuill which came out of the blue - we hadn't started to think about moving on so soon, but after an email arrived asking if we were interested in selling we thought very seriously about it. So here we are all packed up into boxes and staying with Jane on Bribie Island for a few weeks. Then we will do a spot of house sitting which will keep us housed for a couple of months. After that it's a trip to the UK to look at Canal Barges and go into stage 2 retirement!
Thank you for your comments over the last 3 years, it's been a great sailing experience and nice to know someone was watching. I will start up a new blog once we settle into the next phase.
