After a pleasant day walking Coco Beach in Treasure Cay, we decided to sail up the side of Treasure Cay toward the cut through to Green Turtle. Conditions look very good for at least a few days to get back and we wanted to try out the great food at Green Turtle Club and Marina. The passage was safe and we sailed 90% of the way into Green Turtle. Docking proved to be a new challenge. The Current pushed against the prop walk and turning was impossible.
Once there, we rented a golf cart, toured town, checked out the hardware store for the gas grill regulator we ripped off going out of Hope Town, and then walked the beach at ultra-low tide in Coco Bay in Green Turtle. Jack started walking into the shallows and we found sea urchins, Burnt orange Star Fish, Sea Cucumber, Sand Dollars, Sea Snail and Sea Anemone. (Pix)
Friend Cathy joined the four of us for drinks and dinner. Great evening…
Jacks has added the pain of too much sun to the two cracked ribs and shoulder bone he arrived with after a small motorcycle set back before the trip. He must have a death wish!
