Abaco Inn
26 February 2014 | Elbow Cay, Bahamas

Hope town has a lot of great places to eat. After our first night’s dinner at Sip-Sip is was time to get our taste of Beef…again. Two of the nicer restaurants, the Abaco Inn and Fire Fly are half way out Elbow Cay and share great sunset views. This night, however, was the start of a three day wet weather pattern compliments of another New England cold front. It was only appropriate as our New England guests might have brought it with them. At the bar, we met Dan. It seems that Dan, from Nashville, has alos become a Bahamian resident and is the owner of The Abaco Inn. What a property. It had views of the Atlantic and the Sea of Abaco. Toby and lee had the “Crawfish”, blackened, I might add. Crawfish the size of a New England Lobster tail. We now know Crawfish on the menu is the pincher less local lobster.
