Thursday was billed has our hard ride by all forecasts. Well put. The night shift sailed in 20-25 knots of apparent wind. Boat speed adds to the 20+ knots of real wind. Seas were very short and about 4-6 feet. So, lots of water over the front and down the rails. Sailing at 20 degree heel, everyone is on. One hand for the boats. Forecasts for Thursday night and Friday call for winds abating and flat seas. Saturday....Our anticipated arrival day, has peaceful winds building from the south. We just tacked, now headed partly north. If you think we're headed to Atlantic City, your correct. We had been sailing East. Winds should clock Eastward during the day, giving us a North and then Northeast sail. Six knots plus. But, we have been dogged for one day by a current in our face. All is well. Tiring, but we are getting plenty of sleep. Tenderloin for dinner. Photo shows some of the team at twenty degrees.
