Second day

Comocean continues to move south. We sailed our first 48 hours, turned the corner to head down the coast, avoiding serious weather over the Gulf Stream. Today, by tracking the Gulf Stream, we see squalls to our left and occasional showers in our route. No lightning...hooray.
Toby took the 1:00 to 4:00 AM shift. Headed down to sleep in the early morning hours, he missed the pod of Porpoise that played after the boats wake. We know we need to reach Marsh Harbor before Sunday night. We are burning some diesel to drive us home. Everyone is settling in and seem to be comfortable.
The Pork Tenderloin is defrosting for tonight. Seas might be flat, but the storms forming around us ask for clear minds. No "rum" for the crew tonight. John just brought up crackers and cheese. Jack said check out the rainbow. Sun ahead...we rolled up the canvas. It's nice to be dry. Water temperature at 81 and air warm for fall.
