Perfect
I am now cruising in the Loreto area. With Puerto Escondido and Isla Danzante being the Southern part and Isla Coronados being the Northern Part. Loreto to the West and Isla Carman to the East.
After 10 days in Puerto Escondido I motored the 2.5 NM's over to Honeymoon Cove where I met up with Rick and Wendy on Williwaw and did some Hiking and snorkeling I also scraped the water line of Compass Rose. It's a well protected anchorage but deep so it is necessary to anchor near the shore as you can see in the pic's.
Next we sailed up to Puerto Blandra together. When the wind got lite williwaw started their engine but I sailed till there was no hope of wind then motored the last 5 NM's. We stayed there for a couple of days and rick came over and helped scrape the barnacles. That job is almost finished for the time being .
Then they headed South for Escondido and I set sail for Loreto and had a nice beam reach over to anchor in 11' of water near their small boat harbor. The bottom contour is really good here for anchoring. Loreto is a nice small town with a big Hotel about 900ft from the boat right on the Malecon offering 15 peso beers for happy Hr. with WiFi included and that is where I am right now up loading photos.
I plan to go north to Isla Coronados tomorrow then sail the North and East side of Carmen then around and West to Puerto Escondido for Loreto Fest (in Puerto Escondido).
Than North to San Juanico, Mulege and Santa Rosalia after that.
