Just a short note introducing our blog.
We are about 10 months away from retirement yet, as soon as the first mate turns 55 we finish working and start some serious sailing.
I had a operation on my foot two weeks ago and am still incapacitate (Doc's orders), no weight on the foot, BUT, I don't need to put any weight on it to sit at the helm as "issue orders" so we can have a few hours unwinding from inactivity, probably on Wednesday with the second mate while the first mate is at work.
The picture is one of the first pictures sailing after we launched 14 months ago.....
