Reverse the polarity of the neutron flow! (Or just the wiring.)

21 September 2016
So that "reverse polarity" light wasn't supposed to be on! Who'da thunk. Got our polarity reversed so cord blowing doesn't happen again, and so we have electricity! Yay.

On the downside, it looks like the mechanic we used is kind of an asshole to another mechanic at the marina (the second one is a really nice guy who happened to be busy when we needed him, he was our first option). Mechanic 2 claims Mechanic 1 will now claim us since he did a repair for us, and now Mechanic 2 is scared to help us with our diesel engine because Mechanic 1 has responded in the past by filling 2's boat with dead fish and other nasty things. I'm avoiding names for now.

Either way, here's hoping the engine is fixed by the weekend and we can give the boat a good scrub. Though Shawn did a bit of scrubbing during the week (while he was down there to look at the not-actually-broken AC) and noticed the bottom paint flakes off easily. So that's something we have to do at some point...
