The trip so far has been a cats meow! After a seafood feast on Friday night we departed Catskills early Saturday morning. During a leisurely motor we were treated to a brunch of bacon, French toast and Mark's home made maple syrup.

We got to Poughkeepsie Yacht Club by early afternoon after completing 25 nautical miles. The yacht club was hosting a regatta, the first one in eleven years. We arrived just in time to witness the six boats start the race. Larry and Allan dinghied ashore to tour the yacht club, register and enjoy a cold beer on the deck over looking the Hudson River. They returned with a renewed appreciation of Hudson Yacht Club.

The evening was topped off with a sumptuous prime rib and yorkshire dinner prepared in Dagny's galley. After dinner we played the finale of our kanasta tournament. The atmosphere was extremely competitive as the boys eked out a controversial victory!
