Missed by That Much

28 September 2016
We've had a great run of beautiful weather and were hoping it would last another day or two. However it's not to be, we were planning on getting down the Jersey coast as soon as possible but there are strong winds (20 - 35 kts) forecast until Friday night or Saturday morning. We spent last night anchored at Atlantic Highlands and moved over to a small well protected cove on Sandy Hook where we can ride out the weather. There are 5 or 6 other boats here with us, we are in 11 feet of water with 80' of 3/8 chain out and holding well. By the time we get going again we will know how big 40 feet is.

So in the mean time we can post a few extra pictures and try and figure out the map tracking option on the blog. While at Catskills Larry took a shot of tug going down the river with a bridge section on it. We were quite curious to see where it was going and we found out yesterday. Just to keep you in suspense I'll post the answer in a day or two.
