Finally Moving

02 October 2016
The gale warnings are finally over, max gusts in our anchorage were 40+ knots. The weather looks good for the next few days so we hoisted anchor and were on our way at 6:45, after giving the anchor a good wash down. We hope to be in Atlantic City by 7 p.m. and Cape May tomorrow. Just had a good chat will Bill Atkins on Seas the Day as he passed us on the way to Cape May. All is well after our forced rest at Sandy Hook, we managed to do some boat chores but I'm still recovering from getting my butt kicked in scrabble. The picture is of early morning fisherman at the tip of Sandy Hook
