Atlantic City

02 October 2016
We arrived safely in Atlantic City at 7:15 after 12 and half hours of motor sailing in 3-5 foot seas and 5-10 knots of breeze. It was amazing to see how many boats were on the move today, obviously we weren't the only ones waiting to go. Unfortunately we haven't seen the sun for 5 days but besides that it was a pleasant trip, the only thing was we had to watch out for were numerous fish trap markers. As you can see from our picture, it wasn't only boats headed to Atlantic City. The little guy in the picture joined us about 2 hours from destination and toured the whole boat, even sat on my shoulder for a bit. However as we approached the entrance to the channel he left us for the bright lights of the city. Tomorrow we plan an early departure for Cape May so we can arrive in time to do laundry and an oil change on the motor.
