Productive Day on ICW

26 October 2016
With the delays of yesterday fresh in our minds we were away early with the hopes of a more productive day. We had 4 lift bridges to go through of which two only opened on the hour so timing was crucial. However today the tides and winds were with us, most of the day our ground, speed was 8 knots. There were still some narrow spots to negotiate but all went well and we managed to fly the Genoa most of the day. Dagny led the parade (or herd as described by a bridge tender) from bridge to bridge. We arrived early at Carolina Beach where we picked up a mooring for $20 in a beautiful little harbour surrounded by an old style beach town. Our friends from Catskills joined us and we ended the day over a cold one on board Raquilla.
