They're not Trek 520s

07 November 2016
We were all set to leave this morning for Cumberland Island when a last check of conditions changed our minds. There was a strong NE wind and that combined with a strong tide makes for uncomfortable conditions in Jekyll Sound, so we decided to stay put. The marina also supplies bikes for free so we headed off to Winn Dixie to do some shopping. As you can see by the photo they're not quite what we are used to at home but we managed to get all our groceries and a case of beer back to the boat safely. We spent a relaxing afternoon doing a few light chores and wandering the docks. The marina is a popular spot for notherners to leave their boats over the summer and a lot of them are returning now to prep and head south. We even saw a boat from Prince Albert Sask. The bonus with staying another day is today is free wine day plus of course, free beer again.
