Wednesday was a day off since all our chores were done so we decided to walk to the beach. Mike Lagimodiere had suggested we try the Ocean Grill which overlooks the beach, however it was full so we found a small place next door where we could sit outside. It was a beautiful day and the ocean looked spectacular; it gave us the urge to get to the islands as soon as possible. At the end of the day we visited friends from Maine who have done this trip a few times. They are a wealth of information and we hope to benefit from it as much as possible. Thanksgiving Day festivities get under way at noon with a sailor's flea market followed by turkey dinner at 2 p.m. Once dinner is done a music jam session and sing along start.
