We're still anchored off Pirate Beach awaiting nicer weather before moving on. The system seems to have stalled just south of us and we continue to experience gusty winds and frequent rain showers. We considered moving to Black Point today so we could get some laundry done, however we are safely tucked in here and the anchor is well buried so we'll stay another day.

In the mean time we've been reading a lot and yesterday we pulled out the scrabble game again. Victory was within reach and I had Bev on the ropes when she managed two words back to back with the letter "Z" that did me in. So close but no luck, oh well with the weather forecast as it is I'll have more chances this week.

Luckily we are anchored beside a couple originally from Ottawa who having been cruising the Bahamas for 5 winters. They are coming over later today to go over the charts with us and show us some of their favorite spots.
