When we stopped here on our way south in 2016 we had hot and relatively dry weather, however that's not the case this year. It's been raining on and off since we arrived on Saturday afternoon and it has been unseasonably cold with a nighttime low of 8 or 9c. However, I'm still in shorts, although that doesn't mean too much.
We are still anchored in Spa Creek which is a 2 minute dinghy ride to the closest dock and a 5 minute walk to downtown. Sunday we wandered around town for a while but decided to give the powerboat show a pass, it's not quite up our alley. We had dinner with friends Lana and Robert, who we met in the Bahamas in 2016 and made plans to hook up again in a month or so. Monday dawned dreary and cool, however, we had a 9 a.m. rendezvous with Lana to go shopping so off we went. We had a productive morning and are making plans to head to St. Micheal's tomorrow. We plan on a few days touring the eastern shore before heading down the bay.
Today's picture is the view from our anchorage, still beautiful despite the weather
