Ellen walked among a dense canopy of palms with camera in hand.
Dan and I soaked sore muscles in the pool, aka bathtub.
We bought vegetables, eggs and Guna bread from the vege boat.
We feasted on fresh lobster dipped in butter.
The setting sun cast a magical golden sphere around an ulu as the Gunas sailed home.

Everyone wore masks.
Our vaccination cards satisfied the elders in the Congresso.
The tienda sold sparkling soda water (not tonic).
We watched children chase balls in the school yard.
Dan and I smiled as "teens" giggled with cell phones along the bridge.
The villagers led us through the streets with smiling eyes and friendly gestures.
