A great day of sailing! With sunny skies and brisk winds we sailed on a broad reach for most of the day. The weather for the last week has been unseasonably cool so the crew is all bundled up when on the water, but quicly strip off the layers when we come into port. The winds were 15 -25 knots this afternoon and after 9 hours on the water we were glad to pull into the Matane Yacht Club with only some minor theatrics..... The marina staff confused us with another boat and gave away our slip, so we headed for another slip, only to find out that the dock had only 2 cleats. And of course the wind was gusting and wreaking havoc with our docking maneuvers.... Finally they put us on another dock where we later had a sumptuous dinner of fresh turbot.
