Chacala is a wonderful anchorage and a nice small town. Lots of beach restaurants to choose from, and not so many bugs! We arrived at sunset and had to set a stern anchor also, for the first time in many years! Did not go as smoothly as we would of liked but we succeeded! The next morning Mark and I went into check in with the Port Captain than wandered around a little. We decided to have breakfast on the beach! Scott and Jess had decided to swim to shore and poke around on their own. We tried to snorkel but visibility was not that good! We had dinner on the beach again with another group of boaters. Weather forecast was for thunder storms so we wanted to be on a dock! We made reservations and headed for La Cruz. On the way Scott caught his biggest Dorado yet!
