I was in desparate need of quarters for the coin op washer/dryer do I biked about a mile down to the bank and then did some grocery shopping. Since I was by myself I paid close attention to the volume of stuff in my cart to make sure that I could get it all home. What I failed to pay attention to was the weight of it all!. I had two bags strapped to my cargo rack and a bunch of stuff in my backpack. I jumped on the bike and just about fell over because it was hard to keep balanced. I got back safely and a few hours later discovered two large markets about 2 blocks from the boat. DUH!
The Space Shuttle Endeavor is being put in the Science Museum in LA. It was delivered, piggyback, to LAX today. What a sight it was flying over the marina.
