Paper towels

I think the promotions departments at the paper towel companies have missed their mark. Instead of advertising their product as being great at slurping up spills, they should be promoting rolls of paper towels as being excellent cat toys. Monty loves wrapping his legs around a full roll and kicking like hell. He makes some nice kitty hay that would make any hamsters bed nice an fluffy. It's a good thing that mouse that we picked up in Crescent City, CA didn't make it down here..
The other good use of a roll of paper towels that the manufacturers apparently don't know about is that once about 3/4 of the way depleted, the roll makes for a good bee whapper. We can't seem to find any place that sells fly swatters so we've been using a roll of paper towels to kill 100's of bees that come out to the boat in search of water. Picture wack-a-mole but with a roll of paper towels and bees.
Speaking of bees, the cats water dish is covered in them right now. I'm going to go do some whapping...
