We left the Galapagos 5 days ago and have had a mixed bag of weather. From no wind to 17 knots of wind, but usually under 10. Seas have been 3-5 feet widely spread. We are all a bit frustrated with the wind. When I say 'we' I mean all the other boats that we are in contact with out here. We are in the middle of this huge blue puddle and crossed paths with a boat that had left Galapagos a day ahead of us and then then I woke up this morning, Ken told me that we had another boat coming up fast behind us. It's fun to compare notes over the VHF radio when we see other boats.
We are also in contact with 2 other boats by email. They are both ahead of us so we have enjoyed getting their weather reports.
All is good on board. We are eating well and getting plenty of rest. I have been a bit seasick but what's new there? Stugeron has been my drug of choice and relieves symptoms even after they have started so I really can not complain.
Ken has been fishing but not fish have been caught.
