Foggy Day Into Charleston
11 January 2014 | Charleston
Townes Manning Weather:foggy and ranny
After we woke up we intended to take (Carter) I mean Shadow because the name Carter must be doomed because every Carter we met has behavior problems. Okay, now lets get back to taking Carter to the beach which was off to our port side but since the tide was low there was a mud flat that stretches about 20 feet from the beach. So that plan was a no go. Now we got the anchor raised and the motor running so now we have a little bit of time to relax! So now fast forward a couple hours to dock for a pee stop for Carter. Then some more slack time or home schooling time! Now we just hit some chop because of the ocean and LOOK OUT FOR FREIGHTERS!!!!! On our way to the marina we saw the famous Fort Sumter and to the other side we saw the USS YORKTOWN. So we docked and took a taxi over the bridge to the USS YORKTOWN! After that we went to Slightly North Of Broad for dinner. We then took a family shower and decided we would stay 1 more day at Charleston!!
