Sounding of the Conch!

During our stay in Key West one of the notable events is the sunset "Sounding of the Conch". Precisely at the appointed moment the sound of the conch horn resonates across the water. We first witnessed this event when we were anchored in a secluded cove and from a nearby boat the owner crawled out, blew his conch and then retreated into the bowels of the ship and not seen until about noon the next day! Sort of like the ground hog, but about a month late.
Susannah has mastered the art of sounding the conch. Despite my years of playing the trumpet, I couldn't managed more than a 'blaaattt" sort of like a cow passing gas!
Which goes to show that after a full day of sailing that Susannah still has some hot air in her!
