Skiing in the foothills of the Blue Mountains

The snow that fell on Christmas Day night meant a trip to Maggie Valley and the Cataloochee ski area, just 1 1/2 hours from us. Located in the foothills of the Blue Mountains, Cataloochee gave us the opportunity to stretch our legs over the Christmas holidays. A fun day was had by all.
