Couldn't be helped as we were in simi-rough seas and screwball winds. Today at noon, we are at the 200 mile mark to Oahu. Too bad we have to tack one more time or we would be much closer. But this boat will only point so high and the winds have been coming from the direction we want to go, so we just deal with it. We hopefully will make our beeline course very early tomorrow morning or late tonight, see what the wind gods bring us. Steve is better but typing out something is beyond him at the moment and I don't think this laptop is......waterproof? :) Cooking cleaning checking the rigging watching the weather, which btw, we get e-mail weather from NOAA aka weather monkeys. We also can download weather map via the ssb or high seas marine radio and through Ocens via sat phone, but that option is $$$$$$$! Wind generators help keep the batteries charged as the Xantrex charger/invertor is on strike, so power wise we are o.k.. We can run some 110 stuff through a stand alone 1,000 i nvertor to keep the fridge cold and this machine charged, so we're ok there. Other than that, that's it. If you have any questions or comments feel free to shot us an e-mail at goforbroke@ocens.net. Later.
